Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will work one-on-one following each person’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) to promote independence, daily living skills, and community participation.

This role offers flexible hours with local cases across New Jersey, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.
• Comfortable working one-on-one with individuals
• Able to follow individualized service plans (ISP)
• May require CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support.
• Assist with daily living activities (personal care, meals, transportation)
• Encourage independence and community participation per ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with individuals
