Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across the state. DSPs work one-on-one, following each client's ISP, to promote independence and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, documenting services, and building trusting relationships. The role offers flexible hours and a supportive team with local caseloads.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
