Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with clients, following each ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting services, and building caring relationships. We offer flexible hours and local cases with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
