Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. The role focuses on one-on-one support under each individual's ISP, promoting independence, daily living skills, and community participation.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting services, and building meaningful relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
