Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey. This DSP role focuses on promoting independence, daily living skills, and community participation under each ISP.

We offer $18–$24 per hour, flexible hours, and local cases with a supportive team. Candidates should have a HS diploma/GED and valid driver's license; CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
