Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across New Jersey. The role emphasizes one-on-one support, ISP-guided activities, and a focus on independence and daily living skills.

Position offers part-time to flexible hours with community-based outings and no personal care. Starting pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and case assignment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
