Job summary

Capable Hands Care LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work with adults with disabilities in clients' homes across the Minneapolis metro area. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, documenting progress, and coordinating schedules and transportation.

Qualifications include being at least 18, strong communication skills, a driving license and reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but HS diploma with relevant experience considered.
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to achieve goals and independence using a person-centered approach.
• Be a dependable role model and provide guidance to clients.
• Maintain a friendly attitude and reliable transportation.
• Help clients with benefit documents, mail, bill payment, and benefit applications.
• Assist with scheduling medical appointments and transportation to appointments.
