Job summary

Addus HomeCare is seeking an entry-level Direct Support Professional to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. Earn up to $15.68 per hour and enjoy flexible hours, daily and weekly pay, travel reimbursement, and direct deposit in a caring, values-driven organization that puts wellbeing first.

As a DSP, you will follow a care plan, assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, and transportation, and report any changes in condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments and daily errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (no administering).
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition.
