You will advocate, teach, coach, and help clients achieve their goals.

This entry‑level position involves assisting with daily tasks, promoting independence, ensuring safety, and documenting care in accordance with each individual's Centered

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (preferred in TN).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Some computer skills preferred.
• Decision‑making and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain good work attendance.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide education on human, legal, and civil rights.
• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Increase awareness of self‑advocacy and support individual choice and decision‑making.
• Accompany clients to work, movies, concerts, shopping, and other community outings.
• Teach independent living skills.
• Provide transportation to appointments.
• Foster positive relationships within the community.
• Assist with personal care and bathing; help with household chores (laundry, cleaning, decorating).
• Document the care you provide.
• Assist in medication administration as allowed by state law.
• Protect confidentiality.
