Job summary

Marc Community Resources Ltd in Middletown, CT seeks a Direct Support Professional (DD/ID) for full-time (35 hrs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities. The DSP will implement plans, promote inclusion, and assist with health, well-being, and development in a team setting.

The role requires a valid CT driver’s license, high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CT driver’s license with reliable vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification preferred or obtainable.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical interventions as needed.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow agency policies and promote inclusion and growth.
• Support health, well‑being and development of individuals served.
• Assist in creating, implementing, and updating Positive Behavior Support Plans and ISP goals.
• Collaborate with staff to provide the best possible care.
