Job summary

MARC Community Resources, LTD. in Middletown, CT is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DD/ID) for a full-time 37.5-hour position.

The DSP will promote inclusion and social growth, and will assist in implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans and ISP goals for individuals we serve. Requirements include a valid CT driver's license with a reliable vehicle, a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CT Driver's License and reliable vehicle with current CT registration and insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting and physical intervention when needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow agency policies and contribute to goals and plans that promote inclusion and growth for individuals served.
• Support health, well-being, and development and collaborate with staff to provide quality care.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and updating Positive Behavior Support Plans and ISP goals.
