Job summary

IMPACT is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DD/ID) for a full-time role in Middletown, CT. The DSP will support individuals in health, well-being, and development and work with staff to implement plans that promote inclusion and positive outcomes.

The position involves helping create and update Positive Behavior Support Plans and ISP goals, following agency policies, and contributing to IMPACT's mission and guiding principles. A CT driver’s license and required certifications are needed.

Qualifications

• CT driver's license and reliable vehicle with current CT registration and insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support health, safety, and development of individuals served.
• Assist in creating and updating Positive Behavior Support Plans and ISP goals.
• Follow agency policies and collaborate with staff to provide quality care.
