Job summary

Integrated Life Choices is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs will provide person-centered supports, help clients pursue independence, and promote inclusion in home and community settings.

The role requires compassionate, dedicated individuals who can work independently, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure safe, dignified care during all shifts. A high school diploma or GED and background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Background checks (Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services Central Registry) and criminal checks required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to exercise rights and pursue independent living.
• Provide person-centered supports and facilitate participation in community activities.
• Maintain safe environments and document support provided each shift.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities as needed.
• Arrange transportation and ensure accessibility and safety during travel.
• Support group participation and social interactions to promote inclusion.
