Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized support and care in a licensed community residential facility. Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Provide and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license and be insurable under company policy.
• Ability to pass and maintain Medication Certification and CPR/First Aid Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging the use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
