Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. in Stroudsburg, PA seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized care in a licensed community residential facility. DSPs assist with daily living, personal care, and community engagement, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Schedule: Sat & Sun 3:00pm-11:00pm, 16 hrs/wk. Paid training, no experience required, benefits, 403b and AFLAC benefiting the team’s growth and stability.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications
• Provide and maintain a valid U.S. Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence by teaching daily living and behavior skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities to foster growth and participation.
• Complete documentation including time logs and progress notes.
• Participate in planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods.
• Encourage community integration via public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
