Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized support in a licensed community residential facility. You will assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

You will participate in structured activities, document progress, and help clients access community resources. Training is provided, and prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Age 18+.
• Ability to pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and insurability under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care to clients.
• Teach daily living and behavior management skills to promote independence.
• Engage clients in structured activities to foster growth and participation.
• Complete time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes and monthly reports promptly.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications following health and safety standards.
• Use least intrusive interventions to support clients.
• Encourage use of public resources and recreational opportunities for community integration.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
