Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized support in a licensed community residential facility in Pennsylvania. This part-time role emphasizes personal care, teaching daily living skills, and promoting independence within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include documentation, planning, medication assistance, and community engagement. Requires 18+, medication CPR/First Aid, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications required
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and insurable under company policy

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging the use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
