Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) and its Adesha Village program are seeking a Direct Support Professional to work with adults with special mental health needs and developmental differences in a residential setting. You will provide hands-on support, skill-building, and opportunities for greater independence within a compassionate team.

The role offers a full‑time schedule, competitive hourly pay of $18.20 and benefits such as DailyPay, 401(k), PTO, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to read, write, and complete required documentation in English.
• Ability to complete required training, including CPR, First Aid, and other assigned training.
• Ability to effectively support adults with intellectual and developmental differences and behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living & Independence: assist with activities of daily living, including meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, cleaning, shopping, and personal hygiene.
• Provide individualized assistance to help each person maximize independence and quality of life.
• Encourage individuals to develop and strengthen daily living skills.
• Provide supervision and guidance based on each individual’s needs.
• Support individuals in achieving outcomes identified in their ISPs.
• Provide trauma‑informed and person-centered care.
