Job summary

Living Innovations is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to empower adults with IDD to lead fulfilling lives in their homes and communities. If you are reliable, empathetic, and eager to help others reach their full potential, you’ll thrive in our supportive environment.

Full training is provided and the Windham, ME location is available. In this role you will provide daily living assistance, transportation, and encouragement for social participation.

Qualifications

• A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build rapport and trust with individuals with IDD.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to individual needs.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance with tasks like dressing, meal preparation, and personal hygiene.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Encourage participation in social activities and hobbies.
• Help individuals develop life skills and achieve their goals.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
