Residential Services, Inc. in Virginia, MN is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with disabilities and mental illness in our Virginia foster care home.

You will help residents live fulfilling lives and support daily tasks, medications, hygiene, and community activities to promote independence. The role offers 4–8 hour shifts, some weekends, and 24/7 coverage with varied hours.

Qualifications

• To pass a post-offer background check
• A valid driver's license and be able to pass an MVR check if working days or evenings

Responsibilities

• Assist people with disabilities and mental illness with daily tasks according to individual needs and goals.
• Duties may include medication administration, household duties, behavioral management, personal hygiene and medical cares, plus community activities such as shopping, events, and outings.
• Develop meaningful relationships and support a person-centred culture, valuing the people we serve and team members.
