Chimes of Virginia, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence, while growing in a supportive, team-driven environment.

You will provide hands-on care, follow individualized plans, document progress, administer medications as policy allows, and promote community engagement. The role may involve travel between Residential and Day programs and requires lifting up to 50 lbs and a valid US

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and willingness to train in disability services.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required with acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Travel between Residential and Day programs as needed.
