Job summary

Venture Community Services in Gardner, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living and community participation.

You will provide compassionate support, follow Individual Support Plans, help with meals, grooming, transportation, and accompany individuals to appointments. Paid training, CPR/First Aid, and MAP are part of the role, with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a residential setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living tasks and community activities.
• Advocate for independence and empowerment per individual plans.
• Support meals, grooming, shopping, and transportation needs.
• Assist with appointments, outings, and following safety guidelines.
