Position Type: Part Time
Job Shift: Weekend
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 4‑hour flex
Pay: $12.25 per hour
Education: High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in basic living skills and daily personal tasks such as showers, dressing, housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal planning, and financial budgeting.
  • Provide transportation to and from activities and appointments as needed; a valid Arkansas driver’s license is required.
  • Maintain good communication and documentation through facility logbooks, staff meetings, and required records (Behavioral Reports, Incident Reports, Complaint Forms, Personal Care Worksheets, Requisitions, Maintenance Forms, Progress Reports, Monthly Attendance Logs, etc.).
  • Manage the client’s Plan of Care and follow medication‑management guidelines; monitor and document procedures.
  • Organize and conduct recreational activities for clients.
  • Model appropriate behavior and appearance, adhere to FCC dress code, and treat clients and families with dignity and respect.
  • Assist in maintaining FCC facilities and vehicles, including cleanliness and preventive maintenance, and compliance with Medicaid guidelines.
  • Attend necessary training and pursue continuing education.
  • Provide proof of liability insurance and keep it current.
  • Report incidents and emergencies promptly; handle all safety‑sensitive responsibilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information in accordance with HIPAA and FCC policies.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as directed by supervisor or management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, or at least two years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
  • Valid driver’s license; may be required to undergo periodic driving tests and use personal vehicle with appropriate liability coverage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small‑group settings.
  • Basic mathematical skills for budgeting and rate calculations; ability to interpret simple graphs.
  • Reasoning ability to follow written or oral instructions and interpret schedules.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, sit, lift up to 100 pounds, and perform tasks described in the physical demands section.
Compliance and Work Environment

Adhere to all quality assurance, HIPAA, and code‑of‑conduct procedures. Maintain client records weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly in accordance with funding source requirements. Work in a moderate‑noise environment that requires reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
