Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Location: Community Supports - Russellville, AR 72801
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM (Part Time)
Pay: $12.35 per hour
Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or two+ years experience with developmentally disabled individuals
Driver’s License: Valid Arkansas Driver’s License required
The Direct Support Professional works on an interdisciplinary team that delivers superior quality of service and provides appropriate activities in a safe and healthy environment within the home and community setting.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or two+ years experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Arkansas Driver’s License; liability insurance.
Language Skills: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos; write simple correspondence; present information to individuals and small groups.
Mathematical/Computer Skills: Add, subtract, multiply, divide; compute rates, ratios, percentages; use basic computers for documentation.
Reasoning Ability: Apply commonsense understanding; interpret written, oral, diagram instruction; follow instructions with varying formats.
Physical Demands: Use hands frequently; stand, walk, reach, sit, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl; lift up to 100 pounds; vision required: close, color, depth perception; adjust focus.
