Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Inglewood, CA to assist individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting health, safety, and well-being.

The role requires a DSP certificate (Year 1 & 2) with RBT within the first year, First Aid/CPR & CPI if available, and a California driver's license. Full-time status, hourly pay $22–$24, with ample benefits and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)
• Obtain your RBT within the 1st Year of Employment
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Shifts Needed : AM: 6a-2p Friday - Monday; PM: 2p-10p Friday - Monday

The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.
