Dungarvin in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on care to individuals with disabilities, help with daily living tasks, and promote independence with dignity.

This full-time role includes paid training, health benefits, a 401(k) with employer match after one year, PTO, and opportunities for development. No prior experience required; must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Background clearance required as part of onboarding.
• Paid training and orientation provided for all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.

Job Description

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.
