Dungarvin in Raleigh, NC seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on care to individuals with disabilities, supporting daily living while respecting dignity.

No experience? Paid training provided; drivers license may be required for certain positions.

• Valid driver's license required for transporting persons served (where applicable)

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals served.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving, dressing, bathing, toileting and personal hygiene.

Job Description

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.
