Job summary

Qualifications

• Warm, patient, dependable and genuinely interested in building a consistent relationship.
• Able to reliably work the posted schedule.

• Valid driver license and vehicle required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Kindly Direct Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of an adult with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and patient individual to provide one-to-one support and companionship to an adult with developmental disabilities in Monroe Township, New Jersey.

About This Opportunity

Our ideal candidate is looking for a consistent DSP who can provide companionship and help them get out into the community. As a DSP, you will be responsible for transporting the individual to appointments, school, and community activities, as well as supporting errands, appointments, social opportunities, or other community activities as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one companionship and person-centered support

• Help the individual out in the community

• Support errands, appointments, recreation, social opportunities, or other community activities as applicable

• Encourage independence, communication, decision-making, self-advocacy, and life skills

• Help the individual work toward goals identified in the service plan

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions

• Complete required documentation and communicate reliably with the Kindly team

Requirements

• VALID DRIVER LICENSE and VEHICLE REQUIRED

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - minimum of 3 hours each day

Pay

• $18-$21 per hour

Driving on shift: REQUIRED
