Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Direct Support Personnel II to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges in developing daily living and interpersonal skills. You will work directly with residents, providing supports aligned to each Individual Service Plan.

Responsibilities include aiding with daily living activities in home, community, or residential settings while adhering to professional standards and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Valid auto insurance is required.
• Complies with applicable professional standards.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assists individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges in growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living.
• Provides supports for activities of daily living and adaptive skills.
• Works directly with residents and follows each resident’s Individual Service Plan.

The Direct Support Personnel II assists individuals withintellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth anddevelopment of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living in the home,community or residential setting. The Direct Support Personnel II worksdirectly with the resident and provides supports for activities of daily livingand adaptive skills. The Direct Support Personnel II should follow the guidanceof the resident/ patients Individual Service Plan.

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Valid and current auto insurance
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks
