Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Direct Support Personnel I to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges in travel assignments across Colorado. You will support daily living activities and adaptive skills in homes, communities or residential settings, following each resident's Individual Service Plan.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, compliance with professional standards, potential CPR, and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living in home, community or residential setting.
• Provide supports for activities of daily living and adaptive skills.
• Follow the resident/patient's Individual Service Plan.
