Job summary

Hope is seeking a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver to support adults with varying abilities in their homes. This role involves in-home services, coaching on daily living skills, and facilitating community activities, with paid training for those new to the field.

Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, with potential differential of up to $3.00/hour for Zone homes. Benefits are available for full-time employees, and weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required to perform everyday tasks and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills are essential for communication.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and three years of licensed driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Background check through DSHS is required.
• Must be available to work at least one weekend shift per week.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach individuals according to habilitative plans.
• Assist with or provide basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene and medication.
• Provide supervision and engagement with individuals.
• Facilitate community outings.
