Job summary

North Star Oregon LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for Day Support Activities in Corvallis, OR. This part-time role offers growth into full-time work based on availability and service needs, supporting adults with I/DD in meaningful community activities.

You will help promote independence, inclusion, and skill development while participating in varied activities such as parks, museums, and local events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Pass an ODHS-approved background check and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and documentation.
• CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain through North Star Oregon, provided at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in community outings and activities.
• Promote independence, inclusion, and person-centered supports.
• Assist with communication, money management, and daily living skill development.
• Transport individuals safely to community activities.
• Complete required electronic documentation.
• Follow individual support plans and agency policies.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with coworkers, families, and case managers.
