Job summary

North Star Oregon LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Day Support Activities team in Corvallis. This part-time role may grow into full-time based on needs and availability, supporting adults with I/DD through meaningful community activities to build independence and social skills.

You will lead outings, promote inclusion, assist with daily living skills, and document activities while maintaining safety and a person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Pass an ODHS-approved background check
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and documentation
• CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in community outings and activities
• Promote independence and person-centered supports
• Assist with communication, money management, and daily living skills
• Transport individuals safely to community activities
• Complete required electronic documentation
• Follow individual support plans and agency policies
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Collaborate with coworkers, families, and case managers
