Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improved quality of life. DSPs provide hands-on care, emotional support, and community engagement.

You will help with daily living activities, support social participation, and maintain accurate progress notes while following individualized care plans in a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiving, healthcare, or DSP experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
