Job summary

Northeast Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide individualized care in home settings for adults with developmental disabilities and Autism. You will work as part of a team delivering 24/7 supervision, helping residents with daily living, community integration, and developing independent living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide paid training at your normal daily rate and ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50lbs as part of day-to-day care.

Responsibilities

• Establish a caring rapport and safe environment.
• Engage residents in activities and community integration.
• Transport to appointments, shopping, and community outings.
• Follow individual service plans and care protocols.
• Assist with housekeeping, personal care, and hygiene.
• Work flexible shifts including holidays and inclement weather.
• Participate in ongoing training and certifications.
