Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improving their quality of life. You will provide hands-on support, emotional encouragement, and community engagement in clients’ homes and community settings.

Responsibilities include helping with ADLs, supporting social activities, documenting progress, and implementing care plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or DSP role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
