Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improving quality of life. You will provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, and community engagement.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and prior caregiving experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiving/healthcare/DSP experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
