Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in New Jersey. DSPs will provide hands-on care, emotional support, and help with community activities to promote independence and quality of life.

The role involves assisting with daily living activities, supporting social engagement, documentation, and following individualized care plans in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or DSP role preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
