Bridgewell in Andover, MA seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living support to people with developmental, physical and psychiatric disabilities across residential programs. The role involves hands-on assistance, skills training, and community integration to promote independence.

You will document progress, maintain records, and coordinate with guardians and team members. Certifications such as FA/CPR, PABC and MAP are required or pursued as part of ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide support and assist people in our services with skills training in all activities of daily living during the day, evening and/or overnight hours (depending on the shift the employee is assigned).
• Create opportunities and provide support to people in our services to make decisions to develop their skills and foster independence.
• Provide services to people in our services according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
• Provide support and assist people in our services with all medical, clinical and financial needs.
• Transport and accompany people in our services as needed to and from medical, recreational and other activities outside the program.
