Myers-Davis Life Coaching Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team in Arkansas. The DSP will work four days per week, four hours daily, providing compassionate, person-centered support to individuals in a community-based Waiver program setting.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, assisting with daily living tasks, and helping individuals develop social and communication skills while ensuring safety and a supportive environment.

Formación

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.

Reporting to their Direct Care Supervisor & Waiver Services Director, the Direct Support Professional (DSP) will participate in the team approach toward accomplishing the goal of Community Based Services associated with the Waiver program through Arkansas Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS).This position is 4 days per week/4 hours per day.

Job Responsibilities:

• Help individuals acquire skills, such as social behavior & interpersonal competence
• Provide a person-centered care approach to all individuals we support
• Assist with community outings, personal hygiene assistance, mobility exercises and meal prep
• Assist with verbal prompting for communication needs and in home safety practices

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid state license or ID
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background checks
• Should exhibit characteristics such as patience, kindness, and understanding
