Myers Davis Life Coaching in Beebe, AR seeks a Direct Support Professional to work 32 hours per week, weekends only, providing compassionate care to individuals in our community-based services.

You will support daily living activities, foster independence, and assist with outings, hygiene, mobility, and meal prep, while promoting safety and person-centered care. Must be eligible to work in the U.S., 18+, valid ID, and pass background checks.

Formación

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid state license or ID.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks.

Description

Reporting to their Direct Care Supervisor & Waiver Services Director, the Direct Support Professional (DSP) will participate in the team approach toward accomplishing the goal of Community Based Services associated with the Waiver program through Arkansas Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS).32 hours per week, weekends only.

Job Responsibilities:

• Exhibit compassion, support consumers, and ensure a safe environment
• Foster independence in individuals
• Help individuals acquire skills, such as social behavior & interpersonal competence
• Provide a person-centered care approach to all individuals we support
• Assist with community outings, personal hygiene assistance, mobility exercises and meal prepAssist with verbal prompting for communication needs and in home safety practices

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid state license or ID
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background checks
• Should exhibit characteristics such as patience, kindness, and understanding
