Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support clients with medication administration and monitor vital signs as needed, adhering to care plans and HIPAA regulations.
• Provide patient observation and monitor behavioral or health changes to ensure safety and well-being.
• Facilitate participation in community activities, transportation, and outings to promote social engagement.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Use manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods to ensure safe movement of residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident progress, and incident reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Follow all safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, and emergency procedures to respond effectively to crises.
• Support residents with specialized needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or neurodevelopmental disorders using tailored approaches.
• Uphold residents' rights by respecting their preferences, privacy, and dignity at all times.
