So Cal Training Team Media Group is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to provide exceptional care in a residential setting. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor health, and promote independence in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in first aid/CPR, health clearance and background check paid by the company.
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities in residential care homes.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, residents and families.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols and monitor vital signs.
• Support individuals with IDD through personalized care plans.

Job Overview

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols and monitor vital signs regularly
• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through personalized care plans
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with meal consumption when needed
• Engage residents in social activities and behavioral management strategies to promote mental well-being
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards

Requirements

• Company pays for certification in first aid/CPR, health clearance, and background check
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities in residential care homes
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families
• Valid driver’s license or State Identification Card
• Experience working as a care provider is a plus but not required
