Job summary

Spectrum Community Services in Michigan is hiring a Direct Support Professional to coordinate on-site active treatment in Adult Foster Care or Community Living Services homes, assisting individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include helping clients with cooking, cleaning, health and personal care, and supporting community integration.

Experience with disabilities is preferred; training including CPR/FA certification is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
• Background check including fingerprinting, TB test, drug screen, and MILTC screening.

Responsibilities

About the role

Spectrum Community Services is hiring compassionate, honest, energetic Direct Support Professionals. This position is responsible for on-site coordination of active treatment in Adult Foster Care (AFS) or Community Living Services (CLS) homes or private residence, serving individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or behavioral disabilities. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to helping clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health, and personal care.

Experience working with people with disabilities (preferred but not required). We provide all required training including CPR/FA certification.
