Job summary

Spectrum Community Services is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide on-site coordination of active treatment in Adult Foster Care or Community Living Services homes or private residence, assisting individuals with daily living and personal care.

The role is regular part-time in West Olive, Grand Haven, MI. Responsibilities include helping clients with cooking, cleaning, health, and community integration. CPR/FA training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to provide two work references demonstrating good performance and attendance.
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen & physical exam), and MILTC screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site active treatment in AFs/CLS homes or private residences.
• Assist clients with cooking, cleaning, health, and personal care, and support community integration.

About the role

Spectrum Community Services is hiring compassionate, honest, energetic Direct Support Professionals. This position is responsible for on-site coordination of active treatment in Adult Foster Care (AFS) or Community Living Services (CLS) homes or private residence, serving individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or behavioral disabilities. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to helping clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health, and personal care.

Experience working with people with disabilities (preferred but not required). We provide all required training including CPR/FA certification.
