Job summary

Spectrum Community Services is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide on-site coordination of active treatment in Adult Foster Care and Community Living Services settings in Byron Center, MI. You will support residents with daily living activities and health-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must provide two work references demonstrating good performance and attendance.
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen & physical exam), and MILTC screening.

Responsibilities

• On-site coordination of active treatment in AFs/CLS homes or private residence.
• Assist clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health and personal care.

This position is responsible for on-site coordination of active treatment in Adult Foster Care (AFS) or Community Living Services (CLS) homes or private residence, serving individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or behavioral disabilities. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to helping clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health, and personal care.

Experience working with people with disabilities (preferred but not required). We provide all required training including CPR/FA certification.
