Job summary

ACLD is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Magnolia for a part-time, residential role. You will help adults with developmental disabilities become more self-sufficient, provide emotional support, and assist with personal care in a community setting.

Requirements include a valid NYS driver’s license, a high school diploma, and training will be provided for AMAP/SCIP certifications. Prior caregiving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean, valid NYS Driver’s license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred; but will train.
• Must obtain and maintain AMAP within six months of hire and SCIP certifications.
• Prior experience as Caregiver or Direct Care Worker is a plus.
