Job summary

ICM, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, feeding, medication support, and housework.

You will help coordinate appointments and transportation, ensuring safety and quality of life while documenting shift activities in an online platform. • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (some positions require additional education)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• At least one year of relevant supervised work experience with public health, human services or other community service agency
• OR two years of verifiable successful history working with persons with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, medication support) and housekeeping
• Help customers attend appointments and arrange transportation
• Observe customer condition and ensure safety; monitor equipment and surroundings
• Provide daily written updates of shift activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job description

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroomfunctions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials
