Job summary

ICM, Inc. seeks a compassionate caregiver to support clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, medication reminders, meal planning and light housekeeping.

Duties also include arranging transportation, accompanying to appointments, and providing companionship to enhance quality of life. You will monitor safety, report on daily progress using an online platform, and collaborate with teams to meet care goals.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least one year of relevant supervised work experience in public health, human services or community service.
• Or two years of verifiable successful history with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Valid AR Driver's License and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance such as bathing, grooming, menu planning, dressing, medication reminders and light housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments; provide transportation for errands; act as a companion.
• Monitor customer safety and the surroundings; observe condition and equipment; report updates.
• Provide written daily updates of shift activities using an online platform.
• Perform other duties as assigned; demonstrate quality decision making, effective communication and interpersonal effectiveness.

Job description

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroomfunctions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials
