Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Compassionate and patient approach with a genuine desire to help others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain required certification
• Ability to successfully complete: state and federal background checks, drug screening, pre-employment physical, PPD screening

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Preparing meals and providing feeding assistance when needed
• Supporting daily living skills and greater independence
• Helping individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events
• Providing companionship, encouragement, and supportive guidance
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
• Following individualized support plans, goals, and established procedures
• Promoting dignity, respect, inclusion, and person-centered care
• Communicating effectively with individuals, families, coworkers, and supervisors; completing required documentation

What You'll Do
